Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or lime juice)
  • Sparkling water or club soda (chilled)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint or basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  • In a blender, puree the strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional for a smoother drink).
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of the strawberry syrup (adjust to taste).
  • Top with sparkling water or club soda and stir gently.

Garnish & Serve:

  • Add a splash of lemon juice if desired.
  • Garnish with fresh mint or basil leaves and a strawberry slice.
  • Enjoy immediately
